Am I eligible to get a refund?

DrHouse is committed to providing quality care and support to every patient. In cases where we’re unable to offer care during your one-time or urgent visit, you may be eligible for a full refund. However, please be aware that there are situations in which refunds cannot be issued, especially when specific requirements for medication refills, verification, or care provision aren’t met.

For example, if you’re requesting a medication renewal or refill, we’ll need key details to proceed, including your prescription bottle to verify essential information such as the patient’s name, medication type, dosage frequency, quantity dispensed, and fill date. This allows our doctors to safely confirm your medication history and provide care. Additionally, a valid ID is necessary to verify your identity for all telehealth visits.

For complete details, please visit our Refund Policy page, which outlines eligibility and refund guidelines. Below are situations in which refunds are not provided:

  • Doctor’s note or prescription provided: If you received a doctor’s note, a prescription, or a treatment plan during your visit.
  • Request for specific medications: If a prescription was requested for controlled substances, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), muscle relaxants, ADD/ADHD medications, or medical marijuana.
  • Referrals issued: If your doctor provided a referral for lab tests, diagnostic tests, or in-person care.
  • Medication history is unavailable: If you request a medication refill but don’t have the prescription bottle, or our doctors are unable to verify your medication history.
  • No valid ID: If you do not have a valid ID available for identity verification.
