How do I view or download my medical records in the app?
You can view your medical records directly in the DrHouse app, but downloading them is not currently supported. All records from your visits, such as notes, prescriptions, and history, are accessible anytime within the app.
Quick Answer:
- Medical records are available in the DrHouse app
- View visit summaries in Visit Notes
- See medications in the Prescriptions section
- Records are organized per patient profile
- Downloading records is not supported in-app
How It Works
After each virtual visit, your medical information is automatically saved to your account. You can access it anytime by opening the app and navigating to the relevant sections:
- Visit Notes: Includes your doctor’s summary, diagnosis, and treatment plan
- Prescriptions: Shows current and past medications prescribed during visits
These records are tied to your profile and updated after each consultation.
What You Can Access
Inside the app, you can review:
- Visit summaries from past appointments
- Physician notes and recommendations
- Prescription history
- Uploaded documents or lab-related information (if provided during visits)
If you manage multiple profiles (such as family members), each person has their own separate medical record. You can switch profiles to view the correct information.
Limitations to Know
- Medical records are only available for visits conducted through DrHouse
- There is no built-in feature to download or export records directly from the app
- For additional access or special requests, you may need to contact support
All records are securely stored and protected under HIPAA-compliant systems to ensure your privacy.
