What is DrHouse’s on-demand prescription delivery service?
DrHouse’s on-demand prescription delivery service offers patients the convenience of having an eligible prescription delivered directly to their door within 1 hour of completing a virtual doctor’s visit. This service eliminates the need to visit a pharmacy, providing fast, hassle-free access to the medications you need.
How Does It Work?
- Select On-Demand Delivery Before Your Visit: When filling out your reason for the visit in the DrHouse app, you’ll have the option to choose on-demand prescription delivery if you’re located within one of our service areas.
- Complete Your Virtual Doctor’s Visit: During your online consultation, your doctor will evaluate your condition and, if appropriate, prescribe medication.
- Prescription Processing & Payment: Once your prescription is issued, it will be processed immediately through the DrHouse app. You’ll complete payment for your medication directly in the app, making the entire process quick and convenient.
- Delivery: After processing, your medication will be dispatched for 1-hour delivery to the address you provided. You can track the status in real time through the DrHouse app.
- Receive Your Medication: The courier will deliver your prescription directly to your door. For safety and regulatory reasons, you’ll need to present a photo ID and sign for the delivery in person.
Disclaimer: At this time, we can only deliver one medication per visit. If the doctor prescribes more than one medication during your visit, the second prescription will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.
Key Features of the Service:
- 1-Hour Delivery: Medication is delivered within 1 hour of your virtual visit.
- Free of Charge: There are no additional fees for using the delivery service.
- Real-Time Tracking: Monitor your delivery status in the DrHouse app.
- Direct-to-Door Delivery: No need to leave home—your prescription comes straight to you.
